What began over 15 years ago as a weekly class at my gym, turned into a much deeper practice as I began to to notice the impact yoga was having on my life. Not only could I touch my toes, but I started feeling more clear and calm. This came at a much needed time as I was living with my parents, commuting to college and working part-time as a server. I was feeling lost and not really sure where to go next.
I often joked that yoga was my therapy because I began to feel more calm and grounded, both on and off the mat. As a result, my practice became a way of feeling more connected to myself and has lead to something much deeper.
While there were moments I stepped away from my practice due to an injury or other life events, I always found my way home. Stepping onto the mat instantly creates a feeling of peace and relaxation as though I never left.
Whether you are trying yoga for the first time or have been practicing for many years, all levels will find a home in my class.
What To Expect In Kathryn's Classes
My classes offer a balance of meditation in motion, Vinyasa set to music, and tuning inward to practice from a genuine place. I incorporate essential oils and Reiki at the end of my classes, leaving you feeling calm and refreshed.
